Michael empowers leaders to live better lives and transform their organizations as the Founder & Senior Strategist at InnovateXcellence LLC. The work to empower leaders, develop teams, and transform organizations has focused on a range of organizations and leaders in social impact, nonprofit management, education, family offices, communications, finance, transportation, and city systems. Michael’s past professional experiences focused on nonprofit management, workforce development, career development, higher education, and early career experience in healthcare. In addition, he has partnered with experts to deliver training in diversity, equity & inclusion as well as a strategic facilitator in a range of areas.
His current professional passions include developing the collective leadership capacity and culture within organizations, creating inclusive organizations, moving startups to the next level of professionalization, creating connections between people, organizations & systems, maximizing talent to elevate organizational goals and respond to market opportunities, and the future of work.
Key areas of social impact interest include racial and economic justice, food insecurity, cancer prevention & response, Alzheimer’s & memory, parenting/dads, education & youth workforce development and disaster relief/emergency preparedness. In addition, he spends time working with the American Cancer Society event Relay for Life, the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, Hopeworks, and other organizations in the region.
Originally from Philadelphia, PA (Philly), Michael currently resides in southern New Jersey with his wife and daughter, with an interest in being an involved parent within the community. Traveling, unique experiences, and limited edition desserts are sought out in his free time.
